DOMICO Welcomes Everyone!
 
When DOMICO opened its doors twenty-two years ago, there were very few choices when it came to selecting self storage accounting software. Today there are many software companies to choose from that offer a variety of features and options. However, what makes DOMICO different is not only our superior product and customer service, but also our approach to business. At DOMICO, we work not only with large facility operators, but we also work very closely with small facilities. Glenn Hunter, President of DOMICO, stated, “We welcome everyone who understands the quality of our product.”

Tom Clarke

One of our long time clients is Tom Clarke, a South Lake Tahoe Mini Storage manager. He is managing 4 sites that range in size from 71 units to 300 units. He has been in the self storage industry for four years. Tom was kind enough to take the time out of his busy schedule to speak with us about his experience with DOMICO.
 
Tom shared with us that “DOMICO has helped increase our revenue.” Prior to using DOMICO, these sites did everything by hand, i.e. billing and all delinquency steps. With the help of DOMICO software, these facilities are more productive and generate more revenue. Tom said, “I really like the amount of productivity time it saves with the delinquency process. With all the late, pre-lien, lien and auction notices (and FEES associated with each) automatically generated and printed from within the program, individually addressed to each customer, all I have to do is stuff an envelope. It saves me countless hours.”
 

Tom enjoys working with DOMICO and learning the program. On occasion, he finds that he has questions or that he needs help from our award winning Client Support Team. They are always here to help with any questions or concerns our clients might have. Here is what Tom had to say about our technical team, “When I call for tech support, they always come through with an answer or solution.”

Our product is very versatile and dependable. From our multi-site clients with 1000 units to our small sites with a hundred units, DOMICO serves both types of clients well. The biggest compliment that we can receive is when current clients recommend us to other potential users. When asked if Tom would recommend DOMICO to people in the self storage industry, he replied with a lot of enthusiasm “Very much so!” We thank Tom for his feedback and for his years of enthusiastic support.

Tech Tip of the Month
Sending Report Batches
 
If your Outlook or Outlook Express is setup to block images and other external content in HTML e-mail, your report batches can cause DOMICO to shut down during close day. To prevent this from happening, report batches should be sent using a different format, such as PDF or Excel.
