At DOMICO, we pride ourselves on always staying ahead of the competition by providing our clients with the best software and customer service the self storage industry has to offer. This past year we experienced significant growth with the latest release of DOMICO 2005. To keep up with growing demand for DOMICO software we have made significant changes in staff promotions and hew hires to provide you with better and more efficient service.

First, we would like to share with you news of promotion here at DOMICO. Daniel Wong, Client Support Technician, was promoted to Assistant Director of Client Services. Daniel has been a part of the DOMICO support team for over two years, and he continues to be one of our most popular client support technicians. We attribute Daniel’s success at DOMICO to his dedication and desire to help others. He stated, “Two things I enjoy the most about being a client support technician are solving problems and working with computers. As a bonus, our clients are great and fun to talk to.”

Second, we would also like to take this opportunity to introduce the people behind the new voices you have found assisting you lately. John Dittmer is one of our new client support technicians. He comes to us with more than 3 years experience in technical support and customer service. John received his B.A. in Music and German from California State University at Chico, and Minors in Business Administration and Management Information Systems.

Another new addition to our Client Services team is Brandon Jones. Brandon shares his time between hardware support for DOMICO and finishing his degree in Motion Pictures & Television at the Academy of Art University. With a background in computer science as well as sales, we look forward to more opportunities for this young man to shine.

DOMICO solutes our Client Support team for their hard work and dedication. We wish our new additions success as they strive to meet our client’s needs.

It’s that time of year again when our hard-working marketing and sales team hits the road to attend major industry events to showcase the latest DOMICO offerings.

Las Vegas

The Inside Self-Storage Expo at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas was a fantastic show for vendors and attendees alike. With 4,500 plus participants, it was one of the largest self-storage trade shows to date! Mandalay Bay provided a beautiful setting from seminars, roundtables, and exhibiting.

DOMICO would like to thank all of you who stopped by to see us. It was great to see familiar faces, loyal clients, and of course meet new potential clients. This show once again illustrated that the self storage industry is rapidly growing, and we are happy to be part of such a successful industry.

Chicago

The Self Storage Association hosted another successful event in Chicago. Here is Our Winner's Tip: Entering Lengthy Notes in DOMICO

Sometimes when we are entering a lengthy note for a customer, we get a phone call or a visit from another customer. Rather than having them wait for us to finish our note, we highlight what we've already typed, select ctrl+x to cut the text and exit out of the current account to help the customer at hand. Then later, we can go back to the previous account's notes function, paste (select ctrl + v) what we've typed before and continue. This is an efficient way to make customer service a priority.
