Customer Spotlight - Yank Shugg
 
We at DOMICO take great pride in the relationships that we develop with our clients. In our effort to maintain the highest quality product and deliver exceptional customer service, we have come to count on the feedback we receive from those of you who use our software everyday.
 
Yank ShuggOne such client is Yank Shugg, a Putnam Self Storage manager based out of Danbury, CT, who over the years has consistently provided us with invaluable feedback. He has been in the Self Storage industry for nine years, seven of which he has been using DOMICO software. Yank was kind enough to take the time out of his busy schedule to speak with us about his experience with DOMICO.
 
Yank shared with us that “DOMICO is very sophisticated, yet easy to use software.” In his experience using other software he found many shortcomings and felt that it did not perform up to his standards. “I could not count on my other software; the paid through date always had errors.” He went on to say, “With DOMICO I am confident that my numbers are correct and I can count on DOMICO to do what I need it to do."
 
As far as the support team at DOMICO, Yank states, “The service I receive from tech support is excellent.” He claimed that with other software providers he often waited up to four days to receive a call back, but with DOMICO response time is never an issue. We guarantee a call back within two hours. Our current average is 29 minutes. In addition, Yank expressed his appreciation for the accessibility DOMICO’s ownership and management team maintain - noting owner Glenn Hunter’s tradition of keeping customer issues close to his heart.
 
The biggest compliment that we can receive is when current clients recommend us to other potential users. Yank says that he recommends DOMICO to people in the self storage industry any chance he gets, especially when he attends conferences and tradeshows. We thank Yank for his patronage, his feedback, and his years of enthusiastic support.

Tech Tip of the Month
Rent Roll Report (not to be confused with the Rent Roll Detail Report) - This report is designed to be printed each morning as a backup. Refer to this report when the computer is busy and the account cannot be looked up. The “Monthly Charges” column shows the total amount that will be charged to the unit at the beginning of the next rent period. With the help of this report you can answer customer questions such as “How much do I write my next check for?”
